Barrier Animal Health offers a range of shampoos that cleanse and condition, using only natural ingredients. The essential oils are obtained via steam distillation, meaning no ethanol is used in the process. All our products are free from harsh chemicals and safe for both animals and humans. The Barrier range falls into the exempt category of products which use only plant oils as active ingredients, as listed in Annexe IIB (Pesticides) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91 (as amended). They are suitable for use in organic farming systems and require no withdrawal period. Also safe to use under FEI & Jockey Club rules. Suitable for all animals.

Always shake the bottle vigorously before use. For a quick freshen-up, add approx 2 -3 capfuls to a standard bucket of water and sponge down, with no need to rinse. This product can also be applied directly to a wet coat, sponge or water brush. For a more thorough clean, add approx 10 capfuls to the bucket and massage well into the coat, mane and tail. Leave for a while before rinsing off for maximum soothing effect. Safe for daily use. For animals with highly sensitive skin, it is advisable to carry out a small patch test before use in case of any allergy
